Things are calming down a bit after a grandchild invasion for the sake of cookie making.
Looks like someone will be joining us during the Christmas songs portion of tonight's performance.
got me thinking about what my absolute favorite movie - i.e. "The Family Man" (Nicolas Cage) - "is" in a narratives sense... and I suddenly realized I don't care. Knowing such doesn't add to the joy/hilarity. If anything, it risks lessening the impact the same way knowing how a magic trick works lessens the experiencing of it.
I'm taking a couple weeks to spend time with friends and family. I'll be back in the new year.

In unrelated news, I keep forgetting to mention that I get a real koincidence kick out of the fact that one BBS user's name contains what my username was back in my SDF days, and another contains a nickname people used to refer to me in the job I held longest along the way.
