@idi i resonate so deeply w your dad rant. it's so exhausting to see family members doing the same unhealthy stuff over and over again. my dad was doing really well w that for a while and just recently stopped doing well with it again. being the joe rogan in the room is such a great way to describe it
also (not to completely make your post about myself) but i also felt the part about helping ur own mental illness after moving out. leaving for college helped so much with my (looking back, crippling) agoraphobia. and going back home really feels like returning to that childhood place. interacting with family is always strange, i think
i rlly don't want to make ur post all about myself, but i want u to know that i see u and i feel similarly. i also hope garden glow goes well :)
