The death has taken place of Jim Bell, 24th December 2023, (peacefully)
at his home, 36 Knockbracken Court, Coleraine, dearly loved husband of
Karen, much loved father of James, Jemma and Andrea, father-in-law of
Kara and Adam, devoted granda of Jack, Ruby, Lucas, Harry, Charlie,
Albie, Adley, Myla, Teddy and Ari, beloved brother of Jacqueline and a
dear uncle. Service in Murdock’s Funeral Home, 2a Windsor Avenue,
Coleraine on Friday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Coleraine
Cemetery. House Private. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu
if desired for Marie Curie c/o Mrs Mona Murdock, 31 Bushmills Road,
Coleraine. Deeply regretted by his loving family and entire family

Edward Devine, 2 Abbey Street, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Edward Devine, 27th December 2023,
beloved son of the late Edward and Eileen, 2 Abbey Street, loving
father of Edward, dear brother of Mary, John, Neil and the late Ann,
Patricia and Gerard and a much loved grandfather. His remains will be
reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Friday at 10.30am for
11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards
in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Gertrude (Trudie) Friel (née Hegarty), 17 Baronscourt, Culmore Road,
Derry
The death has taken place of Gertrude (Trudie) Friel (née Hegarty),
27th December 2023, at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved wife of Brendan,
Loving Mother of Sonia, Brian, Janet and Brenda. A Much loved granny. A
loving sister of Josephine, Mary, Kay and the Late Shaun. Funeral from
her home, 17 Baronscourt, Culmore Road on Friday, 29th December at
9.30am to St Patrick's Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 10.00am.
Interment immediately afterwards in Burt Cemetery, Co Donegal. Deeply
regretted and will be sadly missed by all her family and everyone that
knew her. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Family flowers

Magherafelt, (aged 95 years), beloved Wife of the late James (Jim), 3
Northland Drive, Moneymore, much loved Mother of Christine, Alan, Brian
and Stephen, loving Mother-in-Law of Tony, Maggie, Heather and Heather
and a devoted Grandmother and Great Grandmother. House strictly
private. Funeral arrangements later. Sadly missed by the entire Family
Circle.

The death has taken place of Eileen Johnston, 24th December 2023,
(peacefully) at her home, 63 Willowfield Drive, Coleraine, dearly
beloved wife of the late James (Jim), dear mother of Hazel, Jim and
Trevor, mother-in-law of John, Shirley and Pauline, grandmother of
Lisa, Gemma, Jonathan, Stuart, Alice, Joanna and David and
great-grandmother of Zac, Cassie, Harry, Max, Ember, Livi, Kit, Finn,
Jacob, Ivy, Alexa and Wilfie. Following a private family committal a
Service of Thanksgiving will be held in Coleraine Baptist Church on
Friday at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if

McAtamney, (Coleraine & Greenlough), died 27th December 2023. Funeral

Greenmount Park, Coleraine. Daughter of the late Felix and Mary
McAtamney and loving sister of Winnie McGoldrick, Margaret McErlean and
Austin McAtamney. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sisters, brother,
sister-in-law, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady of

Jean McCafferty, Eglinton Terrace, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Jean McCafferty, 26th December
2023, peacefully at Edgewater Nursing Home, (formerly of Cable Street
and late of Eglinton Terrace), beloved daughter of the late John and
Mary, loving sister of the late Niall, cherished aunt of Fr. Paul,
David, Peter and Maria. Loved and sadly missed by the entire family
circle. Jean will be reposing in Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Chapel
on Thursday, 28th December from 2.00pm, removal leaving Bradley &
McLaughlin’s Funeral Home at 3.45pm to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for
Requiem Mass on Friday, 29th December at 10.00am. Interment afterwards
in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our
Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.

peacefully at home, beloved husband of Anne; precious father of Shauna
(McGregor) and Dean; father-in-law of Damian and Adele and much loved
Granda of Luke, Grace, Cian, Niamh, Charlie, Cait, Jack and Tom. Loving
son of Theresa and the late Pat Joe and dear brother of Billy, Angela
(Henry), Katie (Dooey), Gloria (McCloskey), Eoin, Noeleen (Draine),
Tishie (McAllister), Marian, Deirdre (McManus), Oliver, Barry, Dessie,
Tracey (McCloskey) and the late infant Martin Christopher. Funeral from

Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Drumagarner. Interment afterwards in
