I suppose it's just part of the chaos that comes with any new technology, but I'm getting annoyed by the number of gemini capsules and gopher holes that are disappearing or being abandoned. Half of the capsules I've bookmarked in Lagrange haven't been updated since 2022 and it's making geminispace feel quite lonely, like regular space.

Well, my mum and brother finally gave me their colds. At least, I think it's a cold. It could be covid, since my brother's friend's dad just came out of hospital and tested positive. It could be flu, since the symptoms are all there. It could be man-flu, since I am AMAB. Whatever the case, it's putting a bit of a downer on my holiday. Still, it could be worse. I could be on fire, too.

It's 23:33 here in the UK. I've just finished rebuilding my playlists after converting my ENTIRE music library into Opus and MANUALLY transferring the cover art to the new files, since this was too difficult for avconv to perform. On the plus side, I've reduced my library's size by almost half.

Last night I managed to fix my laptop. It's the first successful repair I've ever done in which I knew what I was doing. The screen works again, and I also managed to figure out what was wrong with the USB ports (just another loose cable). The whole 14-year-old notebook is now fully functional and ready to accept an OS. I think I'll go for either Rhino Linux, openmamba GNU/Linux, or siduction with Qtile.
