Several 2nd-hand presents actually.
For 50€:
Has some snowflake-looking spots on the main lens' perimeter, but I can't see anything wrong in the photos (maybe because the lens is full frame but my camera isn't?). I searched online and found it may be fungi, though the previous owner said they used it frequently. The autofocus doesn't work well but I rarely use it anyway; however, it seems harder to focus than with my EF-S 18-55mm. It doesn't have image stabilization either, but I haven't noticed any issues due to it yet -- time will tell.
For 40€:
This one had clearly not been used for a long time, everything smelled moldy, and the battery is completely dead. The EF-S 18-55mm and the macro lenses are a bit rough; they didn't come with all the caps &c, so I'm not sure if they're scratched or just dirty (I'm still scared of cleaning a lens myself...). The camera's mirror has a small speck too, though I can't see anything wrong through the viewfinder. The previous owner lost the charger so I haven't tried the camera yet; it uses CompactFlash too and I have none. Bought a battery, a charger, and a SD to CF adapter (new, 80€ total... there were no good used options). In all, the bag is what's in worse shape.
Will take them all to the doctor one of these days, hopefully it's nothing! I think they were good deals nonetheless -- the EF-S 18-55mm alone is sold for 60-70€ 2nd-hand, so I'll probably sell it. I'm excited to try the macro lens, it screws onto the EF-S 18-55mm. Hopefully the 400D works too (fingers crossed)! Once I see that everything is in order I'll give it to my sister. And because the lens mount is the same on both cameras, everything can be mixed and matched!
