Well installing Windows Eleven just so I could reclaim my tablet wasn't a whole lot of fun. Although Windows Eleven is quite nice though. The semi tiling window feature is bit of a mess but it's ok. Instead of a Lenovo logo and animation when my tablet starts up now I get an NEC logo, how odd!

I can't believe my new internet provider phone thingamajig is even possible. Whatever LTE is it is blazingly fast 20+mb second, I saw it on 50mb for a bit when I fired up QBitTorrent, I've been used too no more that 6mb and of late 0.56kb at best. So my mind is all agog. The sacrifice being that I have a limited download of 160gig per month :-(. One hundred and sixty gigabytes sounds like a lot but I could use all that just running speed tests, for the amaze value. I'm not going to miss pages that never load like being on 56k modem that's for sure and I'm not going to miss you either 3, you scummy *uckers.

No! Unbelievably it was no joke. My internet speeds sped up after I phoned my ISP (3) for my PAC code. A form of Gas lighting with mega bytes. Quite an abusive thing to do by any estimation and also there seems to be a way better deal going all of a sudden and I'm far to important to leave their service all of a sudden. It begs the question. Is this an abusive relationship? The answer is yes. All the classic tells of abuse. Speed up your internet after you've complained about how slow it is only makes you question your own sanity (Gas lighting). Offer you a better deal if you promise not to leave after they've punched you in the face...

Scored a Lenovo ideacentre from a Charity shop today for 25 quid. I don't think they really knew what it was. It's kinda brand new. I think it may have been abandoned as the mouse cursor would randomly seem to want to spend most of time in the right hand corner of the screen, making doing anything impossible, this activity was also stealing focus. But one "xinput disable (Touch screen)" later, and its fine.
