The Metaverse sounds cool. I sit here now, in class, where people are observing the dangers of the Metaverse. I, for one, am super "siked" about it. Red flags aside, I would love a piece of tech that could get me out of this world. I mean, not on some "Ready Player One"-type shit. But... it would be really cool to go to space. It would be cool to meet up with people from different countries to play pick-up basketball.
Again, elephants-in-the-room aside...
Imagine listening to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" while walking around space. I would join FaceBook/Meta just for that reason alone.
