Lagrange on Flathub

I just switched over from the AppImage to Flathub. Now updates are automatic! 🙂🙂🙂

Automatic updates are nice indeed, however note the current drawbacks of the Flatpak builds:

Unable to open HTTP/HTTPS links via the default browser.
Multiple instances of the application overwrite each other's data.

I can't stand flatpaks and snaps and all these extra things. AppImages are alright, but I love my package manager!

I should look into automating the AppImage updates, it could be done via a shell script and checking the releases RSS feed.

I stopped using Flatpak at all... I compile Lagrange from source instead, even though the easy way is through Appimage...
