My playdate has shipped! Yay! For those that haven't heard of it, it's this weird little handheld with a crank and a 1-bit non-backlit display.

I've been tempted to order one (and receive it in 5 years 🙄) but the lack of a backlight has been holding me back. Very nice little gadget.

I'm one of those people who ordered one fairly early on and then cancelled it after it kept being delayed.
And who now feels like a bit of an idiot because the device and the game ecosystem looks absolutely fantastic 😅

My playdate arrived with a pre-cracked screen last week, haha. The replacement is being delivered today. Fingers crossed this one is in good condition.
Reading this reminded me that I should charge mine and see what's new! Love the Playdate.
