Eh, another 'small web' manifesto. Not bad sentiments, but I've seen these ideas before (it's why I use Gemini lol)
@eph I agree, but still good to see the passion out there
If you read the whole thing this goes beyond just "small web". It encompass much more than just tech. It's a good read.
I use suckless.org wares more and more. Small is beautiful.
@kelbot agreed. I think it was a blog post at first. if you explore the capsule they have a bunch of projects - record store, tv station, art studio. all pushing for small.
@gritty Yes, Andrew posted it on his blog first and gave me permssion to publish a truncated version in smolZINE. He later posted it in it's entirety on his gemini capsule. They are doing lots of really cool things over there in Ellijay, GA. Roasting coffee, cassette tape subscriptions, zines, a maker space and have now released two vinyl LPs. Both of which I own and totally rock :-).
