Automatic updates are nice indeed, however note the current drawbacks of the Flatpak builds:

I can't stand flatpaks and snaps and all these extra things. AppImages are alright, but I love my package manager!

I should look into automating the AppImage updates, it could be done via a shell script and checking the releases RSS feed.

Ah yes that would be nice

I stopped using Flatpak at all... I compile Lagrange from source instead, even though the easy way is through Appimage...

@freezr I was tempted to compile Lagrange from source but then I felt guilty because I hadnโ€™t done the dishes

So I use the AppImage

It's really good to hear that the Lagrange project is accessible enough for us all to install it in a way that we're comfortable with ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Lagrange on Flathub โ€” I just switched over from the AppImage to Flathub. Now updates are automatic! ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚
