DOS33NuVrsn.zip The .zip file contains DOS33NuVrsn.dsk, a disk image file. This disk boots what appears to be the last official version of DOS 3.3 from Apple. (It passes the PEEK(46725)= 182 test mentioned by Edhel Iaur in the Csa2 FAQs.) The DOS comes from a 1986 Sampler diskette distributed by Nibble. The files come from a 1983 System Master diskette. Finding diskettes INITed with the last version of DOS 3.3 does not seem to be easy. Probably, this is because, by the time the last DOS 3.3 was released, so many users preferred Prontodos or some other speeded-up version of DOS 3.3. Users were not willing to give up speed for whatever relatively minor enhance- ments the new DOS 3.3 might offer. Meanwhile, all versions of DOS 3.3 were losing ground to ProDOS. Anyway, side from being as slow as ever, this DOS 3.3 should, at least, have all of the fixes for whatever was supposed to be wrong with earlier versions.
