I look straight ahead, and there's my face,
I look behind, a stranger in my place
Every page of the book is new,
In every paragraph the question, "who are you?"
It's weird to know that they're all me,
That I was not who I will be
I wish I could have last summer's me's face,
With no grief, or fear, or goals to chase
It brings me a little comfort knowing,
That she was where I could be going
