maybe I'm missing something but what's the minimum version of go that's required? I'm trying to use the golang install command that you gave and no luck...

@johano Minimum required version for misfinmail I think is 1.21.0, and for the server it's 1.21.1. These were the defaults that were set for each module, but I could probably lower them, I just haven't tested trying to build them on older versions of go.
If you are on Ubuntu or Debian, the golang package hasn't been updated in like a decade. Use the snap package instead (if on Ubuntu) or download golang from the website. Or, if you want, you can use the pre-compiled binaries I have given on the gitlab releases page.
