This was my first Mac! Its unibody polycarbonate plastic housing was beautiful six years ago and still is today. Unfortunately, I busted the LVDS connector in a failed attempt to remove the logic board to refresh the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. Combining this with the severe overheating caused by dry thermal paste, this MacBook has become unusable and has been for a few years now.
When it did work though, I loved it. macOS Sierra was a breath of fresh air after dealing with Windows 10 for two years. It saw the upgrade to High Sierra, but not Mojave. The Mid-2012 13-inch MacBook Pro was its replacement.
The specs below were its final operating configuration.
