A new working group is currently under discussion at IETF, theOblivious HTTP group. The idea is to prevent the HTTP server to seethe source IP address (the address of the client). Temporary charteris at <https://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/ohttp/about/>.

This may be interesting for Gemini since, while Gemini removes many ofthe information sent by the client (cookies, headers), the IP addressis still there. Of course, there is Tor, but the "Oblivious HTTP"solution may be more efficient in speed.
