About

This is a brand-new-in-box Wyse 5020 thin client bought from eBay for £35. Its ultra low power consumption of about 10W while running intrigued me, as Phobos is a massive power hog, consuming at minimum 40W and when playing YouTube (basically all the time) around 75-80W. Add the monitors on and my setup would be consuming 120W+.

Its performance is, compared to Phobos, horrendous in every single way. However, I'm willing to accept this severe downgrade in exchange for less power usage.

Trivia

Apophis is named after 99942-Apophis, the near-Earth asteroid that's going to be observed by OSIRIS-APEX (formerly OSIRIS-REx) in April of 2029.
Its disk on module position makes it very difficult to replace it for anything that is not the exact model of DOM.
There is a second SATA port onboard alongside 5 volts and ground from the connector CN1700. A 2.5" SATA SSD or hard drive could be added.
