I'm taking FreeCodeCamp's Webdesign course, and I'm having a difficult time. I'm just bored to tears. I have to keep checking myself, because I'll devolve to just going through the motions and not absorb anything. This is my second attempt - the last time I didn't get past the first few steps in css. I stumbled on to Ania Kubow's "12HR+ YouTube Bootcamp," and I'm finding it very engaging. What I'm enjoying is seeing what I learned on FreeCodeCamp, as the video progresses. It's really nice to see a different perspective. So, I think I want to continue with FreeCodeCamp, and then pop over to the bootcamp video on the weekend to get a different take on what I've been exposed to.

I managed to get a gemini capsule running on an old phone! it only starts listening on its port when I tell Agate where its content folder is, and goes down when I cancel that command. Not sure why. at least SSH works too, programming on a Blackberry keyboard is not easy.

So, just read an article by someone claiming to be a psychologist, and the title reads: "How to Identify a Narcissist: The Two Question Narcissist Test" I'm so pissed off that things like this get written, let alone get views. Just how manipulative the author seems to be and how she makes these outrageous broad statements like being named after your parent means you have NPD, and that this naming pattern is a "smoking gun", or that she's never met someone who was named after their parent who hasn't had NPD. Like this is just ridiculous. Internet Psychology is so toxic.

after years of preparation i was finally allowed to file my immigration paperwork. so many obstacles on the way. and now it is unclear if the paperwork has been received or if they were lost by the courier. to the very last step, this process filters for the mentally strong and those willing to with uncertainty and knowing how to take action at every step. i wonder if that is by design? it is a great filtering function, after all. wish me luck!

I've found it interesting that sometime I worry about losing the good life that I have worked hard to build only to follow that thought up with, but I will lose everything one day there's not a stopping that. Interestingly, the material difference between the two seems to be whether I will have to live through that loss or not. And it turns that worry into an inqury as to the degree of selfishness all this stems from. IDK, just putting something out here. The more I have lived the more I understand the degree of that which I don't understand. It's a lot apparently and I'm solid to the position that humanity has just been flying by the seat of their pants for quite some time.
