A THIRD road traffic collision in the space of one hour has taken place
on the southside of Limerick.
Two units of Limerick Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance at the
incident at the Childers Road/Carew Park Link Road junction in Roxboro.
The incident is unrelated to two other collisions which took place on
the M7 motorway earlier this Monday.

Two motorway accidents spark delays in Limerick
Fire crews were called to the scene at six o'clock this Monday evening.
Ambulances were at the incident, with the fire service requested to
clean up an oil spill resulting from the incident.
Fire personnel were dispatched from Shannon and Killaloe stations, due
to the fact staff from the Mulgrave Street station were busy supporting
the incidents on the M7.
At this stage, the nature of the latest road traffic collision is
unclear, and indeed, whether any serious injuries have arisen from it.
