Mr Drennan was waiting for a bus at the time of the incident at
approximately 9.50pm after finishing a shift in the nearby La Cucina
restaurant. The 21-year-old from Knocknagad, Mountrath, Co Laois, was a
fourth-year UL journalism student and Limerick Voice’s editor-in-chief.
To honor a month since the passing of Mr Drennan, La Cucina will host a
celebration of their recently deceased employee's life this Monday,
November 13 - exactly a month since his passing.
Investigations are ongoing.
