Rory Mooney, 13 Nov
The intrepid ‘Jack in the Box’ from Woodburn Park had a busy time
during this year’s Halloween.
A fantastic time was had by all, scaring young and old from near and
far with a little help from some of the young people from the Churches
Trust.
Jack who is no stranger to fundraising wanted to donate this year’s
fundraiser to help those in our city impacted by food poverty.
"We here at the Churches Trust are so delighted to receive a huge total
of £1,365.90 which will help us with our Pantry Project."
The Pantry Project is based in the Waterside area of the city and
provides food for families who are struggling with the current cost of
living crisis.
Jack’s time and generosity will help us at the Pantry Project provide
food for many across the city for the difficult months ahead.
For anyone who would like to help those impacted by food poverty,
especially now in the run-up to Christmas we have a ‘Just Giving’
Account.
You can make a donation at https://checkout.justgiving.com/c/189178 or
scan the QR Code here. If you would like to make your own food
donation you can call us at 02871 311 322. No matter how small, it is
all very much appreciated!
