We got snow. The scenery driving around town (and on the back roads outside of town) was idyllic and mesmerising. It's novel every time it happens, even at almost 30 years old. Helps that I have a kid though - her wonder makes it even more exciting. It was fun to play in the snow with her and a neighbor kid.
Back to work tomorrow, though. I miss snow days for real. Neighbor kid's mom is a teacher and she gets snow days. Adult life lacks whimsy and beauty, but snow days help bring it back. Maybe I should work at a school.
