THE AmigaWinterTreffen, the weekend event for friends of the Classic Amiga and other systems from February 9th to 11th, 2024 in 22946 Großensee.
The motto in 2024 is: Amiga vs. Atari!
For some people it's a question of faith: Amiga or Atari? Who was/is ?better??
Each of these two model series certainly had its advantages for one task or another. Both have partly common origins/creators/Motorola 680x0 processors etc.
We take a closer look at the topic. Both computers compete against each other in a (not entirely serious) competition. And we are looking for five players each who would like to defend the honor of their favorite computer! The plan is to play in different categories. The exact procedure for the game competition is still being determined with co-host Olli.
Furthermore, a lecture on the topic: ?Using Amiga 880kb DD floppy disks in WinUAE with the Greaseweazle V4? is planned. In the evening there will be another raffle where you can win a Greaseweazle V4. From 8 p.m. there will be various videos on the projector on the topic of ?Amiga vs. Atari?.
Admission is free !!! However, a donation is requested to finance the space.
