People are so weird now. I was chatting with my homey and made a basic vanilla pedestrian comment about how I think the billions of dollars sent to Ukraine would have been put to better use rebuilding Maui, Hawaii or Palestine, Ohio instead. He gets all emotional, talking about, "BRO THAT'S RUSSIAN PROPAGANDA!" You've got to be shitting me. Sure dude, I've got a chat going with Putin himself behind the scenes, didn't you know? I wasn't looking for a debate, or even to make a profound or radical statement. We're just shooting the shit, having light conversation. Once he got fired up, I landed the plane gently like, "Hmmm, I guess we'll never know 🤷🏻♂️". and went on to chat about some other insignificant bullshit. Forget I even said anything. Since when is putting one's own people and interests ahead of a foreigner's even remotely controversial? Good grief.
