Good day midnight! ( Only here would that phrase make sense. ) I hope I find you all as well as you were last time I stumbled in!
It has been nine months and one day since I last graced this corner.
It worries me that much time can pass with ease. We adopted a pair of rescue cats four years ago this month, just before the pandemic, lockdowns, chaos, accidents and a war. Bless them for they have been the most wonderful distraction and companions.
It made me realise not just how time flies, but it does so with silent wings.

I find it amusing that ~mouse has popped up in the fall, right before winter.
I feel the sentiment with time. I like to think of time like sand; the tighter you try to hold on, the easier it slips through your fingers...
