Well, it wouldn't be very hard to run ImageMagick on image uploads to apply some dithering... Finding nice dithering parameters would be the most challenging part.

@eph yeah it was called iich.space nothing like it has popped up since the capsule went offline
funny. I was just yesterday writing a script to do dithering with ImageMagick after reading about the solar powered server of the low-tech magazine :D. I'll put it somewhere in a minute
