Oooooh! So you can sort the comments by oldest-first on Bubble... Beautiful! A much more natural reading experience this way... For those of you who were wondering, it's in the "Settings" page of your user dashboard.

should be the default imo, newer first makes absolutely no sense when the OP is at the top of the page.
@mediocregopher: Agreed... With older-first, it just flows.
On Station, there was a discussion about the comment order and people were split pretty much 50/50 on which is better. As you may know, Station uses newest-first order for comments.
I went with the newest first default because it allows quickly seeing the latest comment(s) in long threads, and it is consistent with the main page's order, but personally I use oldest-first as I like the chronological flow.
Checking the database, only about 14% of users have switched their comment order to oldest-first. I don't know how many have noticed that the setting exists, though...
@skyjake: No problem... I'm just happy the option does exist... I personnally like better this way, but I can understand that there's a logic in liking newest-first better...
I found out from this post. Maybe more will switch now.
