Yes. Natural instinct, with everyone, I'm sure. In one way or another it translates to online interaction. Sort of why the "alone together" moniker is so known these days - prior to the WWW, if one was alone in a room, or wherever, that was it. They were alone at that time, and it's fine. With the WWW, there's always a sense of "so much I *could* be doing/taking part in", but a lot of the time I just want to be chill and not GAF. Which, over time, I've gotten better at. But the lingering POTENTIAL of anything/everything is happening, and I'm just MIA is a stress, for sure.

Not the same as FOMO (which I haven't even heard anyone say/read lately), as FEAR (is illogical) of MISSING OUT is a double negative - missing out IS the point of leaving social media. So the overcoming of all that, (the "fear", and the "missing out" impulses) is what makes the whole thing worth it. Personal discipline, and things of that nature.
