I was *just* thinking about this as something that Geminispace needed!
I am planning on creating a lyrics and music database service in the future that will allow for submissions, and perhaps import information from another service that already had a large collection of songs and lyrics. I say import because I don't want it to be a proxy.

I would love to see if you did that! Importing is definitely the way to go, I think; I appreciate web-to-Gemini proxies, but with importing the data is always going to be there even if the origin site goes down.

New capsule launched -- lyrics.locrian.zone — I’ve just launched a new capsule for archiving lyrics to songs I like. Currently it just has the lyrics to songs by Lyriel, a defunct German metal band, but I intend to add more stuff in the coming days and weeks.
