I'm sure that all the Gemini capsules worked fine during the Fastly
outage :-)

(The title is a lie: there was no problem on the Internet, just some
Web sites down.)

Nothing new for clickbait tech writers. Ironically, by insinuating that
a few major websites are "large sections" of the Internet, they're
indirectly referring to consolidation of web traffic to just a few
websites. Which is why we need decentralization.

Hi Friends,

I'm one of the "old" people who lived through the early days of the
internet (i also lived in the FidoNet!). It should be remembered that
the internet was created in the late 60's by the DARPA as a
communication network to ensure that government entities will be able to
communicate with each other after a full blown nuclear war! The then
called arpanet was planned to have as much redundancy as possible to
resist even catastrophic events. 60 years later a script kid can bring a
fortune-500 company to its knees. Thank you very much, beancounters!

Best regards from Charleston (WV),
 ???? Frank/2
