Today was pretty okay, nothing out of this world, but I managed to tackle several little issues, you know, the usual stuff. My colleague, the guru, really came through today. He helped me figure out why a volume group wasn't showing up and where to find a resource that mysteriously vanished from the NFS share after the weekend reboot. Work can be a real hassle sometimes, right?

I know Packer will be a lifesaver when it comes to creating that OVF template I need, but these repositories from HashiCorp seem like they're hiding in the most obscure corners. Looks like I'll have to search for them with some patience and meticulousness. You know how it is with companies; they do things their way without bothering to let us know. Take Rocky Linux and AlmaLinux, for example.

I'm starting to realize that I might be leaning towards Linux systems that don't have systemd on board. Am I getting nostalgic, or is it a legitimate preference?
