[ANN] astronaut - a Gemini browser for the terminal

Adnan Maolood <me (a) adnano.co>

I've been working on a Gemini client for the terminal:

https://sr.ht/~adnano/astronaut

It has tabs, mouse support, and support for custom user styles.

It also passes all of the torture tests (except 0050, which causes
unicode artifacts for some reason).

There's still a lot of work to be done, including client certificate
management, bookmarks, custom key bindings, and some documentation.

Enjoy!

The title for that particular test is "Format-long line with UTF-8 with
conbining chars and soft-hypen" so it could be your terminal is having
issues with combining characters. It's about the worst (if not the worst)
case scenario for supporting Unicode.

There's always traditional Mongolian script, which is written top-to-bottom
starting at the right side of the page and working towards the left side.

:-)

Hmmm, it seems that my terminal emulator (alacritty) is at fault.
I just tried it in another terminal emulator, kitty, and the problem
doesn't show up.
