I've been working on a Gemini client for the terminal: https://sr.ht/~adnano/astronaut It has tabs, mouse support, and support for custom user styles. It also passes all of the torture tests (except 0050, which causes unicode artifacts for some reason). There's still a lot of work to be done, including client certificate management, bookmarks, custom key bindings, and some documentation. Enjoy!
It was thus said that the Great Adnan Maolood once stated: > I've been working on a Gemini client for the terminal: > > https://sr.ht/~adnano/astronaut > > It has tabs, mouse support, and support for custom user styles. > > It also passes all of the torture tests (except 0050, which causes > unicode artifacts for some reason). The title for that particular test is "Format-long line with UTF-8 with conbining chars and soft-hypen" so it could be your terminal is having issues with combining characters. It's about the worst (if not the worst) case scenario for supporting Unicode. -spc
There's always traditional Mongolian script, which is written top-to-bottom starting at the right side of the page and working towards the left side. :-) On Sun, Nov 8, 2020 at 8:48 PM Sean Conner <sean at conman.org> wrote: > It was thus said that the Great Adnan Maolood once stated: > > I've been working on a Gemini client for the terminal: > > > > https://sr.ht/~adnano/astronaut > > > > It has tabs, mouse support, and support for custom user styles. > > > > It also passes all of the torture tests (except 0050, which causes > > unicode artifacts for some reason). > > The title for that particular test is "Format-long line with UTF-8 with > conbining chars and soft-hypen" so it could be your terminal is having > issues with combining characters. I just tried it in another terminal emulator, kitty, and the problem doesn't show up.
