[ANN] Gemini Anonymous Board (and julia server)

NicolΓ² Balzarotti <anothersms (a) gmail.com>

Hi!

I discovered Gemini quite recently, and I decided to explore the
protocol a bit, writing my own server. I wrote it in Julia, it's called
Gemenon.jl and it's available here [1]. (I must warn you it's still
alpha quality).

I implemented a simple anonymous board running on it. It's hosted on a
home-server, I hope to keep uptime as high as possible.
It's called DNA and it's available here: gemini://nixo.xyz/

When posting, first line is the title, following lines are the message
content. To save and post the message you can insert "!save"
(unquoted), or "!discard" (unquoted) to delete the draft.

In order to post, clients need to have a certificate (any certificate
will work right now).
(User names are generated by using the client certificate)

That's it!

Nicol?

Hey,

I'm liking the site you are hosting, and am interested in see more posts
one day. However, to post to the server you talk about needing a client
certificate. Myself being a newb to all this, I was wondering if you
could add a little more detail to the info section of your site for
future people like me.

Goodluck with DNA (awesome name btw) and your server software!

Thanks,

Jordan
