Superposition

Once again, my life is in some kind of limbo.

I effectively live in two different houses, and I'm looking at another house. I don't want two houses, let alone three. Hopefully I can have one good one instead of two bad ones. Time will tell.

My job is pretty solid, but not very fulfilling. It's stable and pays the bills, but it's not as interesting as many things I might be doing otherwise. At my age, I can't expect to get into cool coding and still support a family.

I'm finally looking at downsizing my collection of musical instruments, which currently numbers somewhere over a hundred. My biggest fan--my father--died last month, and it changed my perspective on things. I'll be giving away some of my stuff. I'm too lazy to sell it, and it's not monetarily valuable, anyway.

Hardware projects are fun. I'm slowly inching my way towards building a cyberdeck (tentatively named the Perfunctor-E); however, projects with the kids have higher priority.

I might not have clear direction, but at least I'm not bored.
