As I write my life here and elsewhere (anonymously, I hope), I've started to wonder about a couple of things:
Specifically, I've always seen journalling online as a pretty niche thing to do. Especially now, with Diaryland running on fumes and the corpse of LJ thrashing from across the Pacific. Of course you can just make a WordPress instance, or keep a journal in handwritten HTML. But, most people don't. And opening yourself up online invites all kinds of issues, as I found out last time. And yet here I am in Geminispace, back on my bullshit, wondering if certain people might one day stumble across this, wondering if I myself am being discussed elsewhere (some part of me hoping?).
Be realistic, w. Who writes out their life online anymore? Who else wanders the edges of the internet, looking for reverberations of who they used to be? What they used to do? But I wonder. You never know. I do this. I found my way back. Who else?
