I am very interested in learning Zig for embedded development. Does anyone have any experience on this and have some tips? I've discovered MicroZig so it's definitely possible, but I imagine that it won't be too easy to get up and running.

That's fair, I probably won't be using Zig for my next project. After doing some more research, MicroZig does currently work for embedded development, but there is not much documentation yet so you would really need to know your stuff to get going. · 6 months ago
I'm interested in Zig but it needs to mature a bit more before I try anything serious in it. Afraid I'm not experienced enough to help you out but with its native compiler, c compatabilty, static linking and cross-compilation out of the box I don't imagine it should be much harder than say a regular C/C++ embedded project depending on your target architecture. · 6 months ago
