Hello, all. In conversations with friends where I've been trying tospread the good news of Gemini, I've gotten the feedback that therearen't really any easy-to-find Gemini resources for non-technicalbeginners; people who may not have experience with Gopher or any othernon-WWW protocols, or who can't compile a client from source, forexample. I decided to meet this issue by writing one.
It starts on the web at https://geminiquickst.art/, and continues onGemini at gemini://geminiquickst.art/. It recommends a Gemini client fornew users based on their operating system, tells them where to downloadit, and gives them some starts on finding things to read that arerelevant to their interests. There's also a section on publishing thingson Gemini.
I'd appreciate people sharing it wherever they share links, and to keepit in mind for when anyone asks for such a guide. I welcome feedback, and I would love to add translations.
