Just thought it was interesting how pirate radio (illegally broadcast) is still very much a thing here in the UK, despite Ofcom's very stern webpage about it.
Right now we are listening to one such station called infrared, on 105.1MHz, broadcast from somewhere in London. Or at least we're trying to - unfortunately the signal is pretty weak here so a lot of antenna fiddling is required to get anything listenable.

I was mildly amused when I realised Radio Essex (a legal station) broadcasts on two completely separate frequencies, both of which have pirates broadcasting much louder over the top. Just goes to show what people think of Essex round here
