Clients thread! Post Gemini clients
Castor https://sr.ht/~julienxx/Castor/ is the client I'm using now, and one of the first (or the actual first?) gui clients
kristall https://kristall.random-projects.net is a quite featureful GUI client that also supports gopher and a subset of https/html
lagrange https://github.com/skyjake/lagrange a modern GUI client built on SDL
am also using Castor. Can confirm it's pretty good. on my phone i'm using https://github.com/snoe/deedum. i dislike that both of these clients read the entire page into RAM before rendering it, which prevents streaming chat rooms
There's also https://sr.ht/~oppen/ariane/ for those on Android
Is there client written in C like lynx?
>>262 I've been waiting for ages for someone to design a terminal Gemini client written in C like Lynx. I haven't found one yet though.
>>315 Do https://git.sr.ht/~sircmpwn/gmni or https://src.clttr.info/rwa/cgmnlm fit the bill?
I personally recommend using Lynx, Links or w3m with a gemini proxy since the current clients aren't that good
#321, yeah, terminal clients are not good. But for GUI lagrange - best choice
I wish Castor was a bit easier to use, and skinnable. I want everything to look like Solaris with CDE.
I really enjoy amfora
I like Castor but I agree with
I like Castor but I agree with no. 78. I tried Deedum and Ariane on android, iirc Ariane was a bit simpler and more reliable but Deedum had more features. I really wanna try out Lagrange. I like that it themes every site slightly differently so they don't all look the same
