Am I misremembering keyboard shortcuts, or was F5 the refesh shortcut in most web browsers until recently?

Is not anymore? · 1 year ago
@radian weird, I’ve used ◆-R and ◆-L for those commands recently, but I remember using the function keys before · 1 year ago
Is it not? I always use f5 = reftesh, f6 = put the cursor in the location field. · 1 year ago
Thinking about it more, I realize that F5 might have been the refresh key for Internet Explorer and old versions of Firefox on Windows. It’s firmly associated with ‘refresh’ for me, and I wonder if the (perceived) disappearance of the shortcut is yet another change wrought by Chrome’s dominance of Web browsing. · 1 year ago
Always use and used F5. Never had any issues. · 1 year ago
I think it still is on most major browsers.
Although C-r is indeed more universal. · 1 year ago
