Tandy 1000 Volume Control Modification : ======================================== To add a volume control to the Tandy 1000's inbuilt speaker, simply add a 100ohm potentiometer in series with one of the speaker leads. Although effective, it's not the most ellegant way to go about it. The more adventurous may like to replace resistors R72 and R73 with a 10Kohm potentiometer. These two resistors are located under the front left hand corner of the power supply. Remove R72 and R73, and connect the wiper of the pot to the side of R72 that connects to one side of R73 (or vice versa). The ends of the pot go to the other ends of R72 and R73. by David L.
