TUSLA has officially opened a new premises at St Joseph's Campus,
Mulgrave Street.

The new centre accommodates the full range of Tusla services, including
Child Protection and Welfare, Fostering, Adoption, and Prevention,
Partnership and Family Support (PPFS).
It is located alongside the HSE and will provide offices for staff,
meeting rooms, interview rooms and conference room facilities, as well
as welcoming consultation rooms for service users.
Tusla recognises the importance of young people’s participation in
improving the services they access and so children and young people
were invited to have their say on the design of the new office space.
The Tusla team collaborated closely with one of its community funded
services, Barnardos, who facilitated a group of young people to support
with artwork and ensure the voice and influence of the child is at the
heart of this new building.

am delighted to officially open this office space in Limerick City. It
is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team who work
with young people and families right across Limerick and the Mid-West.
This new office space will not only provide a cohesive working
environment for each team member, but also a safe and welcoming space
for children, young people and families receiving support.”
A number of firms were included in the design process, some of which
include Milligan Reside Larkin – MRL Van Dijk Architects, RPS Group,
Lawlor Burns & Associates, KinvaraKonsult Ltd., Garland Consultancy and
Factfire.
Their collaboration with the Agency and creative approach ensured the
finished result was a vibrant office space, welcoming for both staff
and service users alike.
Dr Caroline Cullen, Regional Chief Officer Tusla Mid-West commented;
“We are delighted to officially open St Joseph’s with the support of
the Board, CEO, Tusla colleagues and our HSE colleagues. This space

would like to thank our design team for their work, whose creative
vision encompassed our ethos, and a special ‘thank you’ to the
children who provided artwork for the building. We are committed to
continuing our work with the children and families of Limerick and are
delighted to be doing so from such a fit for purpose and welcoming
location.”
The event was well attended by over 100 guests, including the Deputy
Mayor of Limerick, Councillor Dan McScweeney, local representatives and
