I'm considering a workaround for mobile devices that have no way to stream audio via gemini. I might go the Gemini to HTTP proxy route, or just offer the public radio stream via HTTP directly.
I wanted to stick with AuraGem being Smallnet-protocols-only, but until there are more clients that support audio streams, I will have to find some workaround that works.
Unfortunately, iOS (and I believe Android) require you to pay at least a one-time fee to submit an app to the appstore. At least Android has F-Droid, but there is nothing like that on iOS, so I won't be able to make mobile apps that support gemini streaming easily.
