Have you ever given a thought as to how our betters live out their lives especially when they're still young? It's one way to develop class consciousness besides looking up bourgeoisie on Wikipedia.
Silicon Valley technocrats are careful to limit their progeny's exposure to the internet, but nouveau riche will nouveau riche so you have the Rich Kids of Instagram on the other end.
I once stumbled across the Instagram of a young Rothschild heiress whose byline was basically that a brief moment of her life was superior to yours and mine. Given that she disclosed her name openly, she was probably not of elevated status within the bloodline. You are nothing if you don't have 500 million and visit the right ski resorts. Even then this is nothing compared to the secret knowledge accrued over twenty generations.

How about this party princess? There's no party like the communist party. The Chinese dream is the same as the American one; the princelings make sure their kids are well taken of and sent to study abroad like Xi Jinping's daughter in the States.
I remember watching the YouTube of a horribly spoiled son of one of India's richest men and even through all that you could tell he was a good kid at heart.
Tories of Bumble was a humorous look at what dating looks like for future UK Cabinet members. I feel there is a lot of pressure on young women when it comes to relationships and money.
We are used to reading histories about the rich and famous. Compared to ages past, there is a lot more information generated today about how ordinary folk get on with their lives.
And yet relatively little of the content generated by ordinary folks gets seen. Curious Droid just isn't as photogenic as Veritaseum, and simply doesn't have the same resources to make fanciful videos, but still succeeds in being informative.
It frustrates me because my partner loves to subscribe to youtube channels of relatively wealthy streamers, who livestream their lives and talk about absolutely nothing for several hours. She loves the spectacle of these nice shiny people in their nice shiny houses being nice to one another. I understand why she's entralled, but it irks me to no end, because the people who are actually doing useful work in/for society go almost completely unrepresented in these streaming platforms.
