The interview

Well, I had an interview yesterday at a company that I've been trying to get into for a few months.

I was interviewed by five different people. The first two seemed pretty easy, but the third one killed me with some really tough technical questions. I thought that blew it for me, but after all the interviews were over (the last two were easy-ish), I talked to my friend (the one who recommended me for the job) and he said that he had discussed my interview with the third guy and said that it actually went pretty well. I missed some of his questions, but I apparently seemed sharp enough that my current lack of depth wouldn't be a liability. In other words, he thinks I did fine.

So, the last thing I need to do is go back and talk to the CEO and the CTO, which are supposed to be pretty easy interviews (not much technical talk). I think that's a good sign, since my buddy said they probably wouldn't bother the CEO to interview somebody that they had decided not to hire.

I hope it works out. This would be a great job for many reasons.
