Dotpal is a tiny terminal program that turns PNGs into text art using braille characters! Currently it's a bit of a bodge and requires you to process your images in an external editor into 1-bit black and white images before conversion for best results, but eventually I'll include some features like various dithering algos to make it easier to get good results with no pre-processing.
