That sounds like an awesome idea! Although IIRC the definition of a
server includes a system that is accessible 24/7 but your point makes
sense.
That's actually a cool idea. Have a DNS TXT record that looks like
OFFLINE: This site is currently offline. Please try again later.
We could then show this instead of having just a "service unreachable" fault or something.
