Drew and the team from the Trendy Talk podcast have developed a different format for microblogs.

The microblogs for a user are on a single Gemini page in the following format.

Time zones do not be to UTC but the three character code should be listed.

The reason is it is called the Lace format is Drew developed a program called lace that lets you subscribe to Gemini microblog pages which are then downloaded and sorted in chronological order.

With Drew's permission I have forked the project and expanded on the program. The largest change is that is runs on more distributions and also on Termux for Android.
