I've been loving the dress/skirt discourse that StackSmith kicked off yesterday.
Some of the responses have been particularly enjoyable to read.
As cis guy, I am glad to see other men embracing comfortable, practical clothing. I've worn skirts to rennaissance fairs in years past, and I'm keen on reintroducing the article into my usual rotation.
Here's a list of reasons why men should consider wearing skirts:
This is good and I want to see more people bucking gender norms in favor of comfort and practicality.

All males in Saudi Arabia wear dresses. In the heat of that country wearing pants is very uncomfortable.
I see, yes that only makes sense.
The way things are going with the climate, we'll all be wearing dresses soon enough. π
@skyjake, I was thinking the same thing!

re: Naf, it's definitely a cultural thing.
If I was out there in the desert I'd for sure be wearing a headwrap and those long, flowy robes/dresses they all do. Nobody's gonna make fun of the guy wearing the dress, you'd be more liable to get mocked for trying to wear jeans when it's 110 and blue sky all day.
But then again, my undergarments are usually really lightweight and I prefer ones made of a mesh, not solid cotton or etc. which is more common. So I'm breathable all the way through if I'm wearing thin golf pants and a lightweight shirt. And that's the loadout I prefer.
As the summers get hotter by the year, I plan to start wearing a sarong starting next summer. I was miserable and at times even incapacitated during the extreme heat waves.
It wonβt save me, but any bit of comfort will be a relief.
