I'm happy to announce that Lagrange, probably the most beautiful looking Gemini client, is now available on Fedora and EPEL.
This means that you can install it with as little as
sudo dnf install lagrange
and this would work on all supported and in-development Fedora releases (Rawhide, 36, 35, 34) as well as on any RHEL / CentOS Stream 8 and 9 derivatives (RHEL, CentOS Stream, Alma, Rocky) that have the EPEL repos enabled.
My gemsite looks really spiffy and I didn't even have to spend hours looking for, and tweaking, a nice looking Hugo theme like I did for my blog!
When I heard about Lagrange at a side conversation at FOSDEM, my first thought was -- this is good enough it could entice new people to Gemini. And sure, the Flatpak is already available, but it has some known issues as documented on the website.
This will also be the start of my attempt to maintain a gemlog; I'll try to use Dakota Walsh' gemgen to do the conversion, with as little tweaking as necessary, for the time being.
